Our cooking class with Diner Chef Adam Baumgart on Thursday was a roaring success! The class was full to capacity and the kids in attendance learned how to prepare a roasted carrot dish garnished with fresh herbs and tossed with sunflower seeds and raisins.
If you missed out on the class, it’s not too late to try the carrots! Eat at Diner (85 Broadway, Bklyn) now thru April 7, and you will find this plate featured on the menu. Proceeds from the Roasted Carrot Salad will return to purchase cooking equipment for our programs in underfunded NYC schools. And the rest of the food is delicious too.
