If you’ve seen our posts about dining out to support kids’ culinary education and wondered what the buzz is about, now you can be in on the secret.

Introducing…Culinary Communities

You can now make a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation to support HEALTHY culinary education for the students who most need it! All funds our matched by In Our Back Yards (IOBY), Allergic to Salad’s fiscal sponsor and their Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative, so any amount you give will be doubled.

Our Culinary Community program is an initiative to bring our healthy, hands on cooking program into the school day at schools that would not otherwise have access to our programming. All of our funding comes through TAX-DEDUCTIBLE donations from restaurant partners, community members, and the extended Allergic to Salad family.

Pilot Program: Wellness Initiative in Bed Stuy

Our pilot program at P.S. 21/Crispus Attucks School officially launched with a class and fundraiser at Alice’s Arbor Restaurant in Bed Stuy. P.S. 21 wants to offer our culinary program to all of their third grade students as part of a school wide wellness initiative that educates students on the importance of exercise, healthy diet, and happy living.

Stay tuned for future restaurant fundraisers where you can step in by dining out! In the meantime we invite you to take a moment to look over our campaign page and consider donating.

Book a Class or Party

An on-site dinner party is an awesome way to spend time together with family and friends. Enjoy a fun evening while showing off your inner chef skills.
