  • 1-2 mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 Persian or Japanese cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 2 limes, juiced (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 small bunch cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more if desired
  • pinch cayenne pepper (*optional)


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Toss, taste, and adjust seasonings as necessary. Serve atop tofu steaks.
