Upcoming Classes

2-4 Year Olds

This series for our youngest learners will concentrate recipes on increasing hand-eye coordination while developing a solid culinary foundation, and exploring new foods. We’ll put our Adventurous Eating hats on to enjoy the foods we make together. Younger learners will need some caretaker guidance––and caretakers will discover how much the littlest chef can really do as they develop culinary chops! Older learners should be able to do all, if not most, of the work in these classes on their own. Join us as we expand taste horizons and learn proper culinary safety and skill techniques. All classes in this series are “no-cook,” or bake later for maximum hands-on fun. Recipes are kept as pantry-forward as possible and offer substitution ideas throughout.

Tuesdays, 10:00-10:45 A.M., 4/7 – 6/9: Snack Attack

5-7 Year Olds

Pack a bag and grab your virtual passport, because we’re taking a culinary adventure around the world in fun, interactive CORE-Standards-based classes! In this series, we’ll visit the cuisines of different countries across the globe through our hands-on, from-scratch cooking classes. With a focus on international cuisine and food history, students will learn about the origins of some of the world’s favorite ingredients and dishes. Join us for the full series, from knife skills, forming the proper measure, produce identification, and other foundations of cooking for your young cook. Every chef is sure to find something new to love while developing the technique and skill to become master of the kitchen! Classes are designed for little to no parental involvement. Recipes are kept with “pantry cooking” in mind as much as possible and offer substitution ideas throughout.
