Yield 6-8 Servings


  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled if desired, diced into ½-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for greasing the pan
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)


Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Toss the sweet potatoes with the oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cinnamon, if you’re using it. Roast until soft, tender, and golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
