Spring 2021

You have your Pod. Let us bring the fun!

Like a salad with its colorful mix of ingredients, our community of multi-talented educators have the potential to teach in a wide range of disciplines to support your child’s social-emotional well-being. We have instructors who teach dance, yoga, art, acting, playwriting, photography, and more*. Depending on the needs and interests of your Pod, we have the capacity to build an engaging class for you. Our educators come with years of teaching experience and are fully background-checked.

*Please note due to current health conditions, not all activities are available in all locations.

How does it work?

You create your pod. Classes are capped at six students and conducted outside at a location of your choice, perhaps a park or backyard. Contact us about activities available in your area!

What locations do you serve?

We have educators across NYC. Speak with us about where you are located and we will let you know what classes are available in your area.

How long is a class?

Typically, our classes are 60 minutes. We are happy to set up 90-minute classes, or back-to-back classes of different activities in a single day with the same educator.  For example, maybe your Pod would like a dance class followed by an art class!

We require a 5-week minimum commitment on booking.

What happens if it rains?

We require 24 hour notice to cancel a class. In the event of inclement weather we will run the class virtually.

How much do classes cost?

In-person Pod classes have a maximum of 6 students (no minimum). Per class cost is $160 in NYC. If you are located outside of  NYC, extra costs apply, depending on location.

Can you run the class online?

Many of our classes can be run in-person or virtually. Our class size maximum is larger in the online format. We are happy to set up a personal after-school, enrichment, or field trip opportunity for your group. Contact us for more information!

What safety precautions are you taking?

In-person Pod classes meet outside. We do our best to maintain 6 feet separation between students and their educator. Masks are optional for your group, as it is your Pod. Our educator remains in a mask for the duration of class. We may ask you to bring some materials, like yoga mats or paper, and any materials we provide will be safely packed in individual containers. We will not share materials or equipment during class. Masks are mandatory for adults, including at drop-off, pick-up, and any adults staying nearby.

What are my responsibilities?

Once you have your group formed and an idea of the enrichment class your Pod wants, reach out. We can organize details by phone or email. We will set the activity, dates, and time, then send you, as the organizer, an invoice for payment. How your Pod handles payment on your end is up to you. We will send you registration forms for each participant to complete and send an email with class details to everyone. Any questions that come up (for example inclement weather) would be organized through you, as organizer.

Are the classes drop off?

For students 6 years and older, classes are drop-off. For students 5 years and younger, we ask an adult to remain present.
